Aad Storm, the driving force behind 10 Beaufort and Eveon Containers, began his journey with a distinguished career in marketing leadership within the telecom and energy sectors. His time in these industries, coupled with insights gained through various management development programs, revealed a clear path: entrepreneurship was his true calling.
Storm’s entrepreneurial journey began as a shareholder in a prominent Dutch advertising agency, a role that fueled his passion for strategic marketing. This led to the founding of 10 Beaufort, a platform where he could channel his expertise into high-impact strategy projects.
One such project introduced Storm to the intricate world of shipping containers—a pivotal moment in his career. After serving on the board of the largest independent shipping container trading company, he recognized an opportunity to revolutionize the industry. Combining his deep understanding of digital disruption and innovative thinking, he launched Eveon Containers, a trailblazing e-commerce business transforming the way shipping containers are bought and sold.
Despite his demanding role as CEO of Eveon Containers, Storm occasionally takes on consulting assignments, though his availability is highly limited. These selective engagements allow him to maintain a fresh perspective and continue learning while dedicating the majority of his time to driving Eveon’s success. Dividing his time traveling between the Netherlands and the United States, Aad Storm exemplifies the blend of global vision and local expertise that defines today’s successful entrepreneurs.
